DEPOSITS
Alas! You cannot pay by doing the washing-up because Henry so loves
it!
Please contact us with any questions, queries or quandaries
you may have. We're very accommodating, flexible and simply intent
on our guests enjoying their time at Lower Buckton. Please just
remember that we do prefer a two night minimum stay at most times of
the year - but hey! rules are made for breaking and we may be able
to make exceptions and "last minute bookings"!
RESERVATIONS, BOOKINGS, ENQUIRIES and PAYMENTS - A
non-refundable deposit of £90.00 per room, is
required to guarantee a reservation.

message - we do respond to all messages, enquiries and questions.
We will either email or speak to you
about the information that you/we require to confirm the booking. On
receipt of your deposit together with the required information your
reservation will become a confirmed booking.
In any event of a cancellation by you the client we reserve the
right to charge the total cost of the stay if we are subsequently
unable to re-let the room/s. In the event of failure to take up
accommodation, or premature departure, a full cancellation charge
will be made of the expected bill. We strongly advise the use of an
Insurance Scheme so that you are protected from any charges we have
to make.

We reserve the right terminate a booking due to unforeseen circumstances and in this unusual event all deposits will be returned.
Arrival and Departure Times
Please try and arrive sometime between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm during
which time we serve afternoon teas.
If you plan to arrive or earlier or later than the above please let
us know so that we can arrange be on hand for you.
During your stay you are welcome to 'come and go' as you please.
Departure time is normally by about 10.30 am but we can often be
flexible

Please read the following because for us to accept your booking we
shall presume that you have read the following and accept our terms
and conditions.......
Please note that we operate a minimum two night stay policy and do
not normally accept advance bookings for one night stays.
We may occasionally accept a one night stay for last minute bookings

We do not offer a single occupancy discount except in the Pink Room
One night stays may incur an additional surcharge
Smokers: There is a smokers' bench OUTSIDE!
Animals: We have no dog at present however there are cats who live
outside which are not supposed to come into the house and two
horses.
Television: Lower Buckton lies in "no man's land" for TV reception
and therefore we have decided to be a TV-free zone. To compensate,
each room has a DVD/CD/radio and a collection of DVD/CDs is
available to borrow. We also encourage conversations! If you want to
listen to Test Match Special or a Rugby International you go out to
Henry's shed with him! |
